The Nike Dunk High “Laser Blue” is a North Carolina Tar Heels inspired colorway of the vintage basketball shoe that was released in 2022. The UNC Tar Heels, Michael Jordan’s former college basketball team, have inspired the design of countless iconic sneakers by Nike and Jordan Brand over the years, including regular and skate versions of the Dunk. The “Laser Blue” revisits the popular “UNC” theme that was previously explored on the Nike SB Dunk High “Rivalry” pack in 2014. On the “Laser Blue,” white leather appears on the perforated toe, mid-panel, collar, and heel. The leather overlay panels and Swoosh are designed in Laser Blue. Additional light blue detailing comes into play on the “Nike” and Swoosh logos on the tongue tag, laces, interior lining, and on the rubber outsole.
